What’s the fuss about this Deficiency-Free report?

Nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities are under increasing regulatory scrutiny each year. Our recent state inspection confirms our commitment to our residents with a 100% deficiency-free survey. Less than 5% of nursing homes receive this designation.
This reflects that ALL services provided at the facility meet or exceed ALL state and federal standards.
Surveyors who visited Camelot Place found zero deficiencies in care, services or the environment, which is an impressive thing for any nursing home to accomplish, indicating that we either met or exceeded the highest levels expected for a senior care facility.
Annual inspections are conducted by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals (DHH). State Inspectors arrive unannounced and over the course several days, they interview staff, observe care and procedures, and check records for compliance to regulations on care, confidentiality, cleanliness, residents’ rights, and quality of services.
We are operating under the highest level of quality at all times because we never know when the ‘pop up’ will happen. An excellent state report is confirmation that you or your loved one can expect the highest level of care in an optimum environment, which is important when choosing short term rehab or long term care.
To celebrate, we hosted residents and staff to a party with delicious Gumbo, cake, music, and fellowship served by our administrative staff.
